Gateway Pediatrics is pleased to announce the new schedule for “Meet the Doctor” visits. Parents value their child’s health and place a high priority on choosing a Pediatrician who shares their values and health care beliefs. At Gateway Pediatrics, we welcome expecting parents who wish to meet Dr. Sudha, Dr. Valenzuela and Neva Schwartz CPNP prior to the birth of the baby to come in for a “Meet the Doctor Visit”. We now offer these visits on alternate Monday evenings of every month in groups of 10 (5 couples) at 5:30 PM.  We find this time is well suited for busy working families and allows both parents to participate in the meeting.

Dr. Sudha will meet with the families in the breastfeeding room and discuss the philosophy and office policies of Gateway Pediatrics. This is followed by a 1 hour teaching session on what to expect in the hospital when your baby arrives, breastfeeding basics, and baby care essentials. The class is taught by Lisa Scott RN who also works at Gateway Pediatrics and teaches these classes regularly at Chandler Regional Medical Center and Mercy Gilbert Medical Center.
